WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
The Davenport Inn is located at 70 Court Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801. A GPS will bring you to the front of the building where you will find paid city parking. Guests are invited to bring 1 car per reservation and park in our lot which is located behind the building and accessed via Mark Street. Parking spaces are designated by suite number. Municipal parking is free from 8PM-9AM Monday-Saturday, 8PM-12PM Sunday, and holidays.

WHEN IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?
Check-In begins at 4PM daily. Check-Out is at 11AM. We offer late Check-Outs on a limited basis for a fee of $50. The extended check-out is until 2PM. All check-in and outs are performed remotely, as we do not have a traditional check-in desk.

HOW MANY PERSONS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED IN EACH ONE BEDROOM?
We have a maximum capacity of two persons only in our Standard, Superior, and Premium King Suites, and four persons (4 adults max) in our Two-Bed Suites and our Superior Double Queen Suites.
ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
The Davenport Inn does not allow pets. If you require a service pet for travel please email us directly at

ARE YOU ADA-COMPLIANT?
Yes! The Davenport Inn is ADA Compliant and committed to accommodating the needs of all of our guests. Suite 100 is engineered to welcome guests with ADA needs.
DO YOU OFFER PARKING?
We can accommodate one vehicle with each reservation. Parking is FREE when you book directly through our website.
DO YOU HAVE QUIET HOURS?
For the enjoyment of all our guests, we have quiet hours (no loud TVs, amplified music, or gatherings) that must be observed daily between 10PM and 7AM daily. Guests must respect this policy or they will be asked to leave early.

100% of the payment is due at time of booking.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We have a strict no cancellation policy at The Davenport Inn as we only have 8 suites.
DO YOU HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
Each guest suite has dedicated central air conditioning and heating specific to that room. There is no shared air between apartments for the safety and comfort of our guests.
WHY IS THE ROOMS PAGE SHOWING NO AVAILABILITY FOR MY SELECTED DATES?
Two-night reservations are required on most weekends, with a three-night minimum required for major holiday weekends and during peak season. This may cause our availability calendar to show “No Availability.” During the week (Sunday through Thursday nights), some rooms may not be available for a one-night stay. DO YOU OFFER DAILY HOUSEKEEPING?
All of our apartments are considered “housekeeping units.” That term denotes that daily housekeeping is not provided. If ever you need additional amenities — such as shampoo — during your stay, simply contact your personal concierge.

Yes! The Davenport Inn has ultra-fast free wireless internet access throughout the property.
THE DAVENPORT INN IS A STRICT NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. THERE IS A $500 FINE FOR ANY SMOKING OR VAPING.
Our building is equipped with a highly sensitive fire suppression and sprinkler system therefore, any disturbance to this system would cause significant damage and disruption.
THE DAVENPORT INN DOES NOT SELL OR PROVIDE ALCOHOL OF ANY KIND. GUESTS MUST BE 21 TO CONSUME ALCOHOL ON SITE.
